I currently have a full 11 track album for sale using my record label, however promotion is slow and costly, so whilst I find the funds to finance my advertising I am currently working on the release of my debut single which hopefully should help the album's promotion as well.

Current Projects

Hope fully you should be hearing a track playing in the background, this is a remix of my pending debut release of Ask 4 More, which will be available on Materia Records UK soon. The CD release contains 4 tracls, a radio edit of the original version, the remix you hear and a new track I have built along with an extended mix.

The track is currently being played on the Materia Records UK website.

Label and publishing

Over the past few years my developing skills have enabled me to create and produce more sophisticated songs then my first dance track on danceejay. Adding lyrics and giving the tracks a more commercial and professional sound.

So this year (2006) I decided to start my own record label and music publishing company, to enable me to release my material to the world using digital and physical distribution on ecommerce.

The label is called Materia Records UK and the publishing is named after my artist name.

One of the main reasons I started these companies is for other homebrew artists like myself to have a chance to promote and even sell their music online or in stores using an independant record label. And over the next 12 months my label is hoping to start a 'sponsor a homebrew producer' scheme to help entice other electronic artists who don't have the money or time or who want to be soley independant.

Materia Records Uk so far in the three months of existence use, CD BABY, INDIECENTRIC, MPERIA and soon itunes and Amazon.co.uk for both physical and digital distribution.

The site also has an estore and anyone wishing to sell their items are more than welcome to add them to the store.

Biography

Hi and welcome to my site. My name is Paul Barnett and I have been producing electronic music since I was sixteen on and off.

I have a great passion for music and have always been intrested in the production and engineering side. Over the past ten years I have been slowly developing my skills based on my growing experience of mechanical music and the evolution of software. Using some of the most powerful virtual studios I have been able to create a catalogue of over 50 tracks.

My musical tastes are diverse to say the least, stemming from The Prodigy and Leftfield, to Linkin Park and Marilyn Manson, but no matter what I listen to it has all been good inspiration for me to create.

I build music because of my love of it and although I would like to see my music serve others and become successful, that however is not my plan. Whether successful or not I will be creating music forever.

My current projects include the promotion of my debut album 'Fuel Injected ' with the pending release of my debut single.

I also have music featured on a railway dvd which was released this year and am currently still building music for the owner.

Music will be here forever and is a powerful art form we all need to appreciate
